Overview

Based on the success and feedback of last year’s SMC, we have extended this year’s conference to 3 days: May 6, 7 and 8, 2013.

Here is an overview of the schedule with some of the keynotes and main events. There is a detailed schedule available.

Monday, May 6

KICK-OFF PARTY

We kick-off Social Media Camp 2013 with a massive networking party at Victoria’s landmark party spot – the Strathcona, a 2 minute walk from the conference centre.

1:00 – 9:00pm: Pre-Registration will open at the Strathcona (Maple Room)

2:00 – 3:00pm: SMC Orientation is good for first timers and beginners. Attend Building an Effective Social Media Strategy with Chris Burdge

3:00 – 4:00pm: Plan Your Next Two Days and get the most out of your Social Media Camp experience (now that you have a strategy) with Paul Holmes

3:00 – 4:00pm: Meet Your SMC Coach, back by popular demand. Coaches will be available to help you plan our your SMC experience and answer your questions

5:00 – 7:00pm: Dinner at the Strathcona (discount code available)

7:00 – 9:00pm: The Networking Bash lets you connect with speakers, sponsors and other delegates. Dance to the sounds of (TBD)
