Through Social Media, the Vancouver Canucks quickly learned how to turn a tweet into a t-shirt sale, a post into a ticket purchase and a creative contest turn an “on-the-edge” fan into a life-long supporter. This talk will cover case studies around fan engagement, online/offline sales and unique sponsor integration.
About the Speaker:
Nicole van Zanten is a Digital Media Marketing Professional in Vancouver, Canada. With over six years experience in both corporate and non-profit marketing and communication, Nicole currently leads all social media strategy and implementation for Canucks Sports & Entertainment. Wearing many hats, Nicole is closely involved in mobile application development, as well as online digital content for the NHL club.
