Biography:
Joel has spent the past 12 years helping businesses enhance relationships with attractive and easy-to-use digital experiences.

Joel currently manages the marketing design & delivery functions at Softchoice, one of North America’s largest technology solution providers. In this role, Joel’s responsibilities include all digital, social and print marketing for the company. Prior to Softchoice, he helped establish the interactive division of Publicis Canada, where he designed the user experience for over 600+ projects, ranging from advertising campaigns and websites to custom workflow solutions. Early in his career Joel was at TBWA/Chiat/Day bringing technology and innovation to its clients and staff.

Joel enjoys being a regular guest speaker at CMA marketing courses, and in 2006 was an instructor for the York/Sheridan design program.

Joel has designed solutions for many of Canada’s best known brands, including Canada Post, CIBC, HP, Kia, Microsoft, Nestle Purina, Rogers, Scotiabank and Wal-Mart.

Joel graduated from the University of Western Ontario. His interests include art in its various forms, gadgets of all kinds, and keeping up with his two young children.
