The Future of Media

One of our media partners this year was B Channel News. Andrew Ainsley and Neal Gardner were on site for the day capturing video of most of the sessions. Apologies if your panel was missed as we didn’t have the manpower to get every session, hopefully next year.

The first video we have available is ‘The Future of Media’, the panel discussion featuring local online journalists Andrew MacLeod (The Tyee) and Sean Holman (Public Eye Online), and Chek News Anchor Scott Fee.

In this video, the panelists discuss the impact that social media has had on journalism, and what it means for the future of media. This is a look into not only how social media interacts with traditional media, but provides some insight into local news coverage in this region.
