She understands how important it is to support her community and now she pays that kindness forward daily through In Kind Boxes.

Her work is important to her because she is bringing moms together to lift each other up. She wants moms to know that they matter, and that they're not alone.

Help us support NEED2

Social media has a lot of positive aspects, but we all know it can also contribute to mental health issues, especially with today’s youth. With this in mind, we are working to help spread the word about the great work the NEED2 is doing in our local community. Please consider donating to help support the wonderful work they are doing.

NEED2 works every day to actively prevent suicide through our anonymous chatting/texting service for youth up to 30 years of age from across Canada who are distressed or in crisis (Youthspace.ca) and through suicide prevention workshops (Suicide Education and Awareness) in schools in the Greater Victoria area.

NEED2 also offers a support group for adults who have experienced the loss of someone through suicide, as well as workshops related to suicide, mental health and communication.

What people are saying about NEED2's programming:

"I've made a contact in my phone for your organization, I labelled it "Hope <3"" - Youthspace.ca service user

"I had one student come forward (via form) to disclose suicide ideation. I was so proud of her and it was totally the workshop that allowed her the space and final push to take a risk to check the box and 'tell'. It was also not anyone I would have ever suspected" - School Counsellor
